The History

Our Managing Director Mick worked as Project Development Manager for a large well known and well established soft landscaping company based in East Sussex for over 10 years

When that Company was sold 4 years ago Mick decided it was time to use his experience and start up on his own.

D-Clink Limited was formed acting as a Tender Management Company, finding leads and pricing landscaping, fencing, end of build clean jobs and following through projects to the end using sub contract labour sourced using our knowledge of who the best people to use are. After a while the soft landscaping and fencing side of the business became so busy we engaged our own teams and formed DC Landscaping. Sheer determination, a great team, the help of his long suffering Partner Hilary, several small loans from friends and family and with a commitment to providing the best possible service, product and an easy to work with attidude we are now considered to be an extremely well thought of player in the industry.

Starting in a small bedroom in the house, then taking over the living room, outgrowing that in the first year and moving to new offices at our present location we soon had to move again to our larger penthouse offices Suite 4-35 to 4-36, Century House, Menzies Road, St Leonards, East Sussex.

So from going from being single handed, we now have the following office team:

Annie

We're very happy to have Annie with us - any of you that have had the pleasure of talking to her know how good she is. Although we nag her to be ruthless and a constant pain in your bum she insists on using her own laid back, easy to get on with persona - Rest assured she'll be in contact asking for work to price. She takes great pleasure in keeping our Dan busy in Estimating

Hayley

Hayley has been with us now for what seems like an eternity (in a good way). What she doesn't know about DC Landscaping isn't worth knowing. We trust her with everything financial and since she bought her massive house in the country we see very little of her???

Seriously though she runs her finance dept brilliantly and prides herself on making our supplier payments on time - and to that end she'll be sure to nag her main contractors to make thier payments on time too.

Dan

Dan our Head Estimator has been with us 2 years now but Mick worked with him for 4 at our previous incarnation. He is maticulous in his work to the point of being annoying but not only does this benefit our clients its stops us from going bankrupt
